Data Filters on Grids
Some column headers allow you to filter data on the grid. For example, you can filter grid contents so that on refresh, Vision only returns those rows with values in the column that you specify. Data filtering is not available for grouped columns.
Click the
Filter icon to access the following settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| All | This is the default option, which displays when a filter is not in use. |
| Custom | Use this option to add conditions and define the parameters of the filter. |
| Blanks | Select this option for the grid to return only those rows that have a null (blank) in the column. |
| Nonblanks | Select this option for the grid to return only those rows that have a value in the column. |
| Explicit Values | Select this option for Vision to build this list dynamically, to reflect the values that are currently displayed in the grid for the respective column. |
